The South Orlando Youth Football Association was established in 2006. SOYFA is a proud member of Pop Warner. We are also members of the Southeast Region and one of 32 associations that comprise the Mid Florida Conference. Mid Florida covers Orange, Seminole, Lake, Polk and Osceola Counties. SOYFA plays in Division II East Conference along with the Azalea Park Panthers, Avalon Wolves, Lake Howell Silver Hawks, University Cougars, and the Winter Park Tigers. Our home field is Boone High School. SOYFA serves the Boone, Oak Ridge, Freedom, Lake Nona and Edgewater High School districts.

SOYFA Mission Statement
Our goal is to have a youth program that benefits all participants, girls and boys. Teaching good sportsmanship, leadership. teamwork and self-discipline through football and cheerleading.
The parents are as valuable as the athletes. We, as parents, coaches and team Moms should strive to make the game fun for all participants. Coaches and parents must keep in mind the ages of the participants, for they are the future and will need to instill the same teaching into the future generations.
Finally, it has been said "Championships are earned not given.. What are you doing to earn one?" This reflects parents as well as our young men and women. God bless and have a great season.

SOUTH ORLANDO CHEER
ROCKS THE 2011 POP WARNER CHEER AND DANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2011 JR. Pee Wee and Midget BRAVES did an amazing job representing South Orlando, Mid Florida and the Southeast Region at the National Championships last week. Both squads performed beautifully--proving they had earned their spots to be competing with the BEST OF THE BEST in the United States. We are so proud of all of our squads this year and very excited to let everyone know that our Midgets have brought home our association's very first NATIONAL TROPHY with their fifth place victory!! WAY TO GO BRAVES!!! All of our girls this season showed that the SOUTH ORLANDO BRAVES have the HEART OF CHAMPIONS and we are looking forward to being back at Nationals again next year!!!
