Welcome To The Home of The South Orlando Braves

The South Orlando Youth Football Association was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 2006, and is a proud member of Pop Warner Little Scholars. We are also members of the Southeast Region and one of 32 associations that comprise the Mid Florida Conference. Mid Florida covers Orange, Seminole, Lake, Polk and Osceola Counties. SOYFA plays in Division II East Conference along with the Avalon Wolves, Hagerty Huskies, Oviedo Lions and the Winter Park Tigers. Our home field is Boone High School. SOYFA serves the Boone, Oak Ridge, Freedom, Lake Nona and Edgewater High School districts.

SOYFA MISSION

The SOYFA Board, Coaches and other volunteers are excited about the 2014 season. Our goal is to have a youth program that benefits all participants, by teaching good sportsmanship, leadership, teamwork, physical fitness, and self-discipline through football and cheerleading. We will do our best to set a positive example for our players, cheerleaders, and opponents at all times.

We also recognize the commitment of our parents to the success of our players, cheerleaders, and SOYFA. We appreciate all you do to support your children’s participation and SOYFA. We will strive to make the SOYFA experience fun for all participants and we will work tirelessly to ensure a safe and positive playing environment for all participants.

We believe that the commitment to excellence by our players, cheerleaders, coaches, team moms and parents will continue to make SOYFA a first class organization that represents the best of competition and reflects positively on our community, Pop Warner, and our children.

God bless and have a great season.

Brian DuChene

President, SOYFA
